THE DAILY WOW NEWSROOM

Calling all student reporters!

We have made a decision.

For the release of our new book, THE DAILY WOW, my wife and I are only doing interviews with children.

BUT, BRAD, WHAT IF 60 MINUTES CALLS?

Well, that will be nice, but I will have to politely ask if they have any correspondents at their local elementary school who could handle the report.

If you or someone you know is a student reporter of any kind, we would be happy to talk to you about The Daily Wow.

School newspaper? Certainly.
Morning announcements? You got it.
School television? Perfect.
Student podcast? Why not.

Do you have a microphone and several questions? Excellent!

We will be anxiously awaiting your call.

WHAT IS THIS?

THE DAILY WOW is a book we are very proud of. It’s a book about NOTICING THINGS. From the smallest things to the largest things, there’s so much that’s easy to miss because we’re all busy doing other things. It only seemed right that professional noticers (kids) should be the ones asking us about it. Also, they’re just more fun and ask better questions.

WHO CAN BE A WOW REPORTER?

You might help make the morning announcements at your school, write for your classroom newspaper, or host a podcast. We’re looking for any creative, curious young people who want to ask some good questions and chat. Whether you work at your school TV station, make your own newspaper, or just like asking questions…. IF YOU’RE CURIOUS, YOU’RE QUALIFIED!

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Have an adult advisor (can be a parent or someone from your school) fill out the form. Tell us a little about you, your newsroom (whatever it might be), and the reporter (or reporters) who would like to interview us. We’ll be going through the submissions and get in touch with selected newsrooms to arrange the best way to do the interview.

Some interviews will be done as video calls, phone calls, email, handwritten letter, or you might even get chosen to interview us for 60 Minutes or CBS This Morning whenever they call.

(Because they will call. Right?!)
