Meet the little free library of creativity!
In our new book, The Fantastic Bureau of Imagination, there’s a place called The Makery (rhymes with bakery), where anything is possible and anything can be created.
We wanted to create something to inspire and equip our community to create like they do in the Makery, so we installed a locker in front of our studio (404 N. Church Ave. in Henderson, TN), and filled it with all sorts of craft supplies. It works like a free little library, but with supplies for making! You can pick up something you need, drop off something you no longer need, and then go make something beautiful the world needs!
We bought a metal locker cabinet, bolted it to the wall of our studio, and added vinyl lettering to the front that we cut out on a Cricut machine.
