Many young refugees in Clarkston, Georgia attend Fugees Academy, a place for young people to learn and grow together. These young people show us just how beautiful a friendship you can build despite being from different nationalities and even speaking different languages.

Robby and Brad are headed to the Lighthouse Retreat to meet with families battling cancer. Life is fleeting and precious for all of us, so the Kid President Team thinks it's important to find a million little reasons to celebrate and enjoy time with the people you love.

Brad tries again, and again, and again. Eventually, through persistence and a variety of strategies, he succeeds. Failure can be a step forward, if we keep trying to overcome the obstacles standing in our way and enlist the help of others.

BRAD STORY: A BALLOON'S STORY

A red balloon learns to face his fears about the future and enjoy the present. Students will participate in discussions and activities to help them cope with their own insecurities and fears. They will see that, like the red balloon, they are meant to fly!

BRAD STORY: THIS IS A JOYFUL REBELLION

Students are encouraged to make the world a better place by starting their own Joyful Rebellion. Rather than an angry face and a raised fist, their weapons will be a smile and a high five. Small changes can make a big difference!
