Brad Montague is a New York Times best-selling author/illustrator of books for kids and former kids. A highly sought-after speaker and performer whose encouragement brings hope and humanity to a wide variety of communities - Brad is the creator of the hit web series Kid President, the global social-good movement Socktober, the bestselling picture book The Circles All Around Us, and the creativity-packed Fantastic Bureau of Imagination.
The newest picture book, Fail-a-bration!, releases September 10, 2024 from Dial Books.
Brad is also part of the team behind Zip and the Tiny Sprouts, a new animated series on YouTube Kids. The series features a wonder-filled world and charming characters designed by Brad, with direction and voices from the smash hit Bluey. Montague has been involved heavily behind the scenes in several projects for television, including The Kindness Project, a special Brad hosted for Chip and Joanna Gaines’s Magnolia Network, available to stream on Max.
His commitment to childlike wonder and joyful rebellion has led to collaborations with The Disney Channel, Jim Henson Company, Pokemon, The Metropolitan Opera, Hallmark, Rivian, and the United Nations—just to name a few. He lives in Tennessee with his wife and collaborator, Kristi Montague, and their two children.

Bio:
Kristi Montague is a New York Times best-selling illustrator of picture books and mixed-media artist. From corporate graphic design work to elaborate cardboard props for Kid President, Kristi has a wide range of experience adding color to the world. Her art has been featured in such publications as Magnolia Journal, Geo Italia, Good Grit, PDN, and PDNedu. She enjoys making things by hand, often combining digital elements with the handmade resulting in unique creations for local theater productions, large brands, or just for fun. Her skills are regularly used in the service of local non-profits that benefit children. She lives in Tennessee with her husband and collaborator, Brad Montague, and their two children.

Kristi has a BA in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design from Freed-Hardeman University and a MA in Digital Photography from Savannah College of Art & Design. She spent 11 years as creative director of Freed-Hardeman University, where she oversaw design of all printed marketing materials, and provided art direction for commercials and online videos. As the head photographer for the university, she also shot, edited and organized around 50,000 photos per year. She has worked as a freelance designer for for various clients, including designing book covers and interior book layouts for Hal-Leonard Publishing. She served as Art Director on the New York Times best-selling Kid President’s Guide to Being Awesome where she crafted dozens of paper illustrations and tableaus and served as the main photographer for the book.
She and her husband, Brad Montague, work together at their studio, Montague Workshop, in Henderson, Tennessee. The mission is to nourish compassion and creativity in the lives of kids and former kids.
